The New York Times homepage's top story yesterday was that a high school was holding prom on a school night. C'mon now. Today's homepage as I look at it has a interactive feature on the tea party movement and busts the democrat's and mainstream media's critique that the tea party movement is organized by uneducated conservative extremists yelling a bunch of idiomatic phrases while waving around oversized American flags. The picture above potrays the reality- that tea partyer's are more educated than the average American and are a group of concerned citizens rebelling against over-spending after months of bailouts and stimulus packages from the White House. This article is far more interesting and far more relevant than a high school prom. Good for the Times. I like it when they stick up for people typically only idiots like Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck really stick up for. Most tea party peeps are not wackos like Beck. See the Times interactive feature. Read the pollster article.
