New York Times/CBS Poll Results
Amazing. But with thought, it makes sense. New Yorkers have to deal with the claustrophobia, overcrowded-ness and tourists on a daily basis. Others just think of New York as a capital of the world. Tourists appreciate the architecture, how well the city functions, the preforming arts and all that New York has to offer when they visit New York. New Yorkers themselves do not appreciate New York enough.
I'll never forget last year when a homeless person told me those exact words- "New Yorkers don't appreciate New York enough". This was coming from a hobo! We need to enjoy the city more.
