My favorite bridge

The Queensborough Bridge, or to us Manhattanites, the 59th street bridge, is a huge suspension bridge finally completed in 1909. It does not have the grandeur and epicness of the Brooklyn Bridge nor the classiness or style of the Golden Gate Bridge. It's length is impressive, but nothing like Michigan's Mackinac Bridge. But it's GRIT is almost like a fuck you to those bridges and how under-appreciated it is (although it's in lots and lots of movies) makes me like it even more. Plus, the fact that you can take the tram gondola across from one side of it to its middle in Roosevelt Island makes me like it so much more.
