A brave Palestinian Republican stands up to Gingrich and says "We are not an invented people". Newt says "You are an invention of the 70s." By Newt's deeply twisted frame of mind, there would be no such thing as an "American", an invention of the 1400s. What a despicable, racist human being. The Palestinians are just as real as we are.
Romney was not much better, saying the only reason there is no peace in the Israel/Palestine region is because of radical Palestinian leaders. Is that why 14x more Palestinians have been killed than Israelis in the last 20 years of conflict? Romney says the only reason there is not a two-state solution is because of the Palestinians, who want Israel gone. What is he talking about? Palestine's bid for statehood was an attempt at peace between the two nations.
Will we ever have a president who stops funding Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine and stands against one of the great humanitarian catastrophe's of our time? All this talk about Castro and how bad he is to the people of Cuba. What about how bad Israel is to the people of Palestine? The Republican Party, with the exception of Ron Paul, is a disgrace on this issue.
